The impetus for creating this space came from wanting to share my music, because music connects. It’s not just a private thing, it’s an expression of who I am and what I aspire to.
Connectivity, of course, is a techno-term that usually refers to plugging in your devices. But I prefer to think of it also as a way of plugging in to the reality of our non-separateness.
I chose the name for the site as a combination of my Buddhist name, Bodhivajra, and my creative practice of writing and performing music. My name was given to me by Sangharakshita, and he translated it as energy for enlightenment. Vajra means energy or reality, so the site name came from my name, and what I do. Music also for me is a symbol of energy, interconnectedness and impermanence.
